DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

The role covers both building platforms and operating them. We do not believe in separating "the people who build" from "the people who get called at night".

You get time explicitly allocated to automation: 20% of the team's capacity goes into removing repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining infrastructure as code, on AWS and Azure
• Building and optimising continuous delivery pipelines
• Setting up monitoring, alerting and service level objectives
• Taking part in blameless post-incident reviews

Requirements

• At least four years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure administration roles
• Solid experience with Terraform or an equivalent tool
• Knowledge of Kubernetes in production, not just in a lab
• The ability to write code, not only to configure

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud cost optimisation
• Infrastructure security knowledge
• AWS or Azure certifications
